It certainly was, er, annoying.  The story does point to a sad fact about 
USers:  We have become a nation of kvetchers, content with petty revenge for 
petty irritations, instead of howlers, willing to shout truth in the face of 
power.  Hunter Thompson is dead; Andy Rooney lives on.
