Obviously you have to alter values. Education?

Here in Oregon with a ballot initiative process I can imagine community based education entirely voluntary, staffed by retirees with little to do and a barn full of old tools. Education for a new socialist world, sharing tools and owning them. And as a tax-free, voluntary staffed institution, the taxpayers should be happy to vote it in. And not accepting federal dollars it should be exempt from federal guidelines for programming.
