An upgraded version of Pilotless Target Aircraft Lakshya was successfully test-flown on Monday from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur, said defence sources.
The micro light aircraft was test flown at 11.23 am, they said.
The indigenously developed aircraft has been designed by the Aeronautical Developmental Establishment, Bangalore, to perform discreet aerial reconnaissance of battlefield and target acquisition.
