No one here is using the "E" word in regard to the topic... Exploitation.

Bad form for marxists...

What people do in privacy is their business, and what gets "marketed" is society's business. The merits and disadvantages need to be discussed in context of a broad range of issues beyond simple personal liberty, and take into account the possibility of the illusion of "happiness" being mistaken for the real thing... to the detriment of others.

But in my humble opinion, the kind of person interested in personal happiness uber-alles probably doesn't care very much about what's detrimental to anyone besides their own circle of acquaintance.

Leigh (overposted... again... But I was good yesterday!)
