This is a bit facile. If any human activity that involves commodities should be renounced, that means most fun stuff-- not just porn--is verboten. (E.g., I spend money on musical equipment for my home studio; does that make music a bad thing?)
Sexual activity that involves money is no more (or less) detestable than any other example of capitalism you could think of (e.g., poverty wages for Wal-mart workers).
