Here's my 0.02:

The end of summer run up to school can be kind of hectic and disorganized. For students, I'd suggest spring is better for mass centralized rallies. Long cold winters lead to long hot summers, with mass rallies in the middle. Elegant and aesthetic.

The students had the semester to get their "act" together, and can travel.... take their message to the world at a mass demo, evolve, sharpen, clarify, then *relax*.... relaxing after strenuous learning experiences helps one absorb and remember lessons learned.

... ferggedaboutit for a month or so.

Then it's time for Back To (the mil-ind-edu-tech complex) School to shut the M/F down, or at least disturb the war.
