San Jose is a great place to be if you are rich because you'll have sooo much more than anyone else who lives there... That avg income figure is seriously off... Can you figure out why?
Because no one with any buck$ actually *lives* there.
Try Los Gatos, or Walnut Creek, or some of the private roads up in the Santa Cruz Mtns, athough as the boom went bust alot of folks in the SC mountains moved closer in to SJ, as a measure to make themselves more available to their employer(and hopefully avoid that next round of layoffs).
