Another proof that this country is heading toward a theocracy - just like
the Islamic states. Religion is the opium of the people, and as such it is
a good indicator of the general suckiness of a country and its social and
political institutions. The greater the suckiness, the more anguish it
creates, and the greater the need of the populace to relieve their pain by
mind altering substances, including religion. God saves America, indeed --
from itself, by assuaging the alienation of the plain folks of this land by
filling their pea-brains with rubbish.
