There's also a matter of timing and context. There was plenty of time to criticize Ward Churchill before he became a cause celebre; after he did, the importance of that critique should have fallen pretty far down on the to-do list. Ditto Galloway - what's the point, other than indulging a pathological notion of purity or an equally pathological self-destructive urge, of hammering him after he kicked Norm Coleman's ass?
