I'm entitled to critique the culture I live in as I see fit, including the use of caricature.

Who said anything about shooting anyone, or excluding anyone from my life or universe for drinking soy lattes?

I live in the US, and all comments can be construed as aimed at ... North America anyway. When I'm commenting on world events I make that clear.

I'd already aggreed with Gar Lipow http://mailman.lbo-talk.org/pipermail/lbo-talk/Week-of-Mon-20050516/010522.html

that the soy was most likely cattle feed, another causative in the continuing destruction of the amazon. Feedlots for BKBroilers on the hoof.

As far as that goes... pesticides, herbicides, and the GMO soy that can survive only with them(another example of the fittest being... not.) are part of the regime' that goes along with monocropping in the Amazon Basin.
