[lbo-talk] Need piece defending third party politics

So for a class I'm teaching, we have a section on unions and electoral 
politics; I'd like to include a piece, hopefully on the longer essay length 
size, arguing for third party politics.

What are folks favorite piece to argue the case against unions allying with 
the Democrats?
