I have to admit that I am starting to re-think my long held position that
voting Democratic matters.  It looks like we are heading toward a one-party
system anyway.  Which may not necessarily be a bad thing - professional
civil servants are certainly preferred to small town ambulance chasers
turned politicos, which this system tends to produce.
