Yes, I already have seen objections to this bill (esp. from unconditional supporters of the Iraqi Resistance on the U.S. Left), that I agree with on the NATO and UN troop replacements for US troops. But, the, "coalition of the bribed, " like the Salvadorean troops in Iraq, has run out of steam long ago. Time to leverage the sectors of the ruling class that want the US troops out of Iraq, for their own reasons, with the majority of us, that need to generate #'ers like the MOBE's of the Vietnam War era, that want them out for our reasons, as was the case with the corporate liberal ala "Business Executives Move for Vietnam Peace." (Ellsberg spoke on their behalf then, and according to this http://ice.he.net/~freepnet/kerry/staticpages/index.php?page=Fedora3 they helped to fund Vietnam Veterans Against The War Winter Soldier Investigation hearings) /New Left coalition (Hayden's Indochina Peace Campaign) that cut off funding for the Vietnam War after yrs. of unrest at home.

Rep. Jim McGovern (D-MA) today introduced H.R. 4232, the "End the War in Iraq Act of 2005"
Rep. McGovern's long-awaited bill cutting off funding for the war was introduced today!
The bill would allow Defense Dept. funds to be used only to provide for:
* The safe and orderly withdrawal of all troops;
* Consultations with other governments, NATO and the UN regarding international forces;
* Financial assistance and equipment to either Iraqi security forces and/or international forces.
In addition, the bill would not prohibit or restrict non-defense funding to carry out reconstruction in Iraq
