Indeed. Just like I never learned to love my fingernails. It would seem that you would first need to be alienated from your penis (or your fingernails) before you would need to learn to love them. Fingernails and a penis come with the territory so I dont love them...I kind of blissfully take them for granted. Maybe if my dick disappeared (as in the "Detachable Penis" song, I would have a longing for it, write troubador love songs to it in order to beckon it back.

I dont love my left-hand either, even though (especially during my adolescence) I fucked it regularly. Now maybe if my left-hand had a mind of its own and did not give it up whenever I liked (ie played hard to get), I would stop taking it for granted and begin to love it. Proust had something to say about this (just thought I would throw that in to give this absurd post some intellectual legitimacy).

Fortunately or unfortunately, I dont seem to command that kind of control over the alien pussies that surround me. They can say "NO". Therefore, I dont take them for granted and love them.
