The film "Chavez, Venezuela, and the New Latin America" features an extensive interview with Hugo Chavez Frias, President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The interview, conducted over several days in 2004, explores Venezuela following April 2002 when Chavez survived a coup attempt instigated by the United States.
