The most amusing/disturbing thing about this article is that the suggested
alternative mechanism of action for SSRIs, neurogenesis of the hippocampus, 
is a phenomena whose first observance in human adults only occurred in 2000.

Our state of knowledge about the brain really is sad.  Sadder still is the
impact our ignorance has on possibilities for suffers of mental illness.
