Since I was a kid, among ordinary, high school educated folk and certainly among the college educated, people have been talking about how to raise kids post-sexual revolution. Everyone wanted to do it differently than their parents had. They wanted to be more open and honest about sex, booze, drugs, and teenage experimentation.
But that doesn't seem to be the case in this New York Magazine survey where parents are seriously off the mark as to what teens are typically doing these days.
My kid? Sure he has sex. He just lies back and thinks of England.
