Hope Hitchens has a taste for humble pie.  Looks like it will be a staple of 
his diet for years to come.

Indeed, Hitchens' saccharine seasonal salute to America reads like it was 
intended for Rockwell's main venue, the defunct Saturday Evening Post, or 
for the regrettably extant Reader's Digest.  I think Hitchens will have his 
fondest wish and morph completely into a Middle American very soon.
