Neither seems to apply herre, Dating services do not sell people, they sell information, volunarily provided, and porovide a (safer than some) contrext to meet. As such they seem to me to be an excellent thing.
There is potential for abuse, but it's not like people can't lie or atake advantage of each other face to face.
It's possibe that the _need_ for such services reflects the second sort of problem in with capitalism in the abstract, that human binds with ones neighbors, co-workers, and such are broken, but even if that is true,w hy shoukd people be confined in the circle of potential dates and mates to those whom they know because of proximity>
After all, is there anything wrong withg our making friends internationally and otherwise through this list? What's the diff? That one pays for dating services? WEll, we ought to pay for this lsit. Speaking of which, Doug, how much shoulo we give you?
In sum, I guess I think dadting servicesa re pretty much an unqualified good, and I don't see why they shouldn't profilate under a hypothetical post-capitalist society.
