Michael -- this is when your fishing for obscure intellectual influences becomes useful. I wish you would stick to this sort of thing. In the future, here's a rule of thumb:
(1) Pointing out that the Attorney General of the United States is fascinated with the legal theorist of the Third Reich brings to light an indisputably important fact. Thank you for this, really and truly.
(2) Pointing out that some guy with the Internet handle "white_power_88" who you "met" on Usenet had a good word for Cindy Sheehan is of comparatively less significance.
Please consider this in the future, if the mood ever strikes you to actually make a point instead of recycling trivialities.
