[lbo-talk] Walmart in the olden daze

Just learned this from an attorney who once represented Walmart back in the
daze when it was just a department store with a regional presence.
He said that, when you got people on the stand and asked if they'd ever
shopped at Walmart, no one would cop to it because it was embarrassing to
shop at a store for "hicks" run by "hicks" -- a warehouse full of a bunch
of cheapo junk no one would ever admit they'd buy.
