Point well made. Even in the once 'depression proof' industry of baking, U.S. companies are failing. The country's largest baker (Interstate Bakeries, the baker of Wonderbread, Hostess, and other labels) is in bankruptcy. It's main rival, Sara Lee, has been rumored to be on the brink of bankruptcy and is undergoing 'restructuring.. Both have lost market share, at least here in California, to a Mexican company, 'Bimbo.' It seems American Capital can't even bake a loaf of bread. SR
