Jack Welch and his trophy wife are in the Financial Times this weekend. They 
look ridiculous together (even the FT reporter uses the understatement "The 
look strange together"), downright cartoonish in a "You can't make this up" 
sort of way. Anyone who attempted to satirize them would be called an 
unimaginative hack. Throughout the story, of course, he says the most odious 
things imaginable while she "nods enthusiastically" -- this subtly 
denigrating description once again taken straight from the FT report itself.

I don't care if Stalin said it or not: for some people, four walls . . .
