On this note, I have been doing a lot of research, for business reasons, of businesses in "red states". I have found, much more often than I would have expected, small businesses who talk about how they are a "Christian based, professional mortgage brokerage firm" ( http://www.taylormademortgage.com/about.html ) or say that "Our mission is to be provide quality solutions for the most demanding electrical engineering needs. Striving to conduct business in accordance with the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, we wish to Bless people and share the gospel at every opportunity. We operate daily in the strength that God provides. Because he loves us, God promises to give us success in daily life when we seek to please him." ( http://www.rocksys.com ).

Of course, one might expect a few of these from some very small, non-professional businesses, but I have found a lot more than expected, for work more professional than I would expect, from companies that are not huge but are bigger than I would have expected.

And of course there have been articles about this type of thing ( http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2003/007/12.20.html ) as well as organizations promoting this sort of thing. I wonder if anyone else has had more hands-on experience with this sort of thing, especially between the coasts.

Lance
