And of course the former FEMA director they hired was Joseph Allbaugh -- the guy who hired Idiot Mike Brown, the guy who is making current FEMA a worldwide embarassment after it had recovered in the 90s. Allbaugh hired him for friendship's sake, and then after 2 years of on the job "training" handed him over the reins -- so that he, Allbaugh, could quit to run Bush's campaign full time -- as opposed to the 1/2 time all Bush appointees put in as part of their jobs.

This is like an old-timey corrupt city machine blown up big.

And when was the last time Allbaugh was in the news? When he was profiteering from Iraq reconstruction with a company named "New Bridge Strategies."
