Bear in mind that Washington Post polls always skew more in favor of the White House than other polls.

Perhaps middle America is in denial about the scope of this disaster. When they start counting up the number of dead, a few more people will sober up.

Of course, the answer to this continued support of Bush is staring us in the face: the cowardly Democrats won't criticize or stand up to the President on anything. If they put up a little resistance, those polls would change.

Kiss the Democrats goodbye. It looks like they are kaputt and finished as an "alternative" to the Republicans.
