It goes even deeper than that. The cost of relief is far less than the tax breaks that these fuckers have received all around the country, not to mention the indirect subsidies they receive as a result of the fact that they pay their workers so poorly that they all qualify for Medicaid. They're the country's #1 tax-dodger and cost-shifter and therefore bear the largest single share of the corporate blame for the chronic underfunding of public services in this country that made this disaster as bad as it was.
But despite the US media's sudden -- and all-too-brief -- discovery of a critical spirit, this is one set of questions that they will never ask. Ever.
