What I'm sick of.

The Chavez that addresses the Stalinist nostalgic World Festival of Democratic Youth in Caracas (the '89 festival was in North Korea) invoking Old Left rhetoric about the, "socialist bloc."

"Mother Sheehan, " saying on CNN that Osama bin Laden and al-Q, "allegedly, " attacking the WTC towers on 9-11. And Sheehan at SF State lauding, "her hero, " Stalin, Mao apologist Lynne Stewart who sees in the reactionary, anti-left sheik she defended a reincarnation of Frederick Douglas.

Rallies at SF State held by ISO w/ leaflets invoking rhetoric straight out of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion about Christian babies being slaughtered according to Jewish rite to make matzo out of their blood.

James Devine saying Dissent in '65 supported LBJ's invasion of the Dominican Republic vs. social democrats. Rich grad students w/ $40K sports cars who write for Rethinking Marxism who say to me about Dissent, "Isn't that the journal edited by Kristol?" (Not to defend their editorial consensus except for James Rule on their board on the Iraq war.)

Charles Brown calling me J. Edgar Hoover.

Nice, old Communist Party, USA members defending to me, slaughter of Kulaks and executions of Bukharin and , "Trotskyite Fascists."

Nice, middle aged and old, naive Quaker pacifists on vigil duty knowing nada about Bosnia or Darfur or Halabja.

Mean, young "marxists" like John, who once upon a time on the list he founded, marxist at yahoogroups (founded with others like Scott McLemee, Doug and I, all long gone. Now a cesspool for RCP/MIM agit-prop for Nepalese guerillas who kidnap 12 yr. olds for the Popular Army) could take the time to format and send the statistical breakdown of the of the deaths in the GULAG from the J. Arch Getty volume in the, "Annals of Communism, " series from Yale U. Press or, like me, polemicize against Milosevic apologists on the list.
