An insult to Koestler, who was a genuine scholar and after his Comintern days, never a cheap polemicist. The Sleepwalkers (e.g.) is a classic of history of science. Far as I know K never made a habit of toadying to the rich or justifying imperialist war, either. David Horowitz, H's newfound friend, would have revolted K. jks
