the really rich have a long view, and they have (since the early 20th century) come to appreciate the virtues of hiding their wealth and hiding themselves. but, i agree, once you've said that there's not much more you can say. you or i are not going to find what has been brilliantly disguised by people with resources (and incentives) so much stronger than ours. all i urge you to do is give a generous estimate of offshore wealth as a caveat before you get into the official numbers.
