Same here in Los Angeles. And most people turned right and went back from whence they came when they arrived at the speakers' platform. Plus I noticed a much lighter police presence than usual (excepting the cars surrounding police headquarters near where the march ended). And the cops that were on the street weren't wearing riot gear.
