Generally, I toss letters with a smart alec attitude to the trash bin because they clearly indicate that the author has nothing to contribute to the discussion except hurling a few ad hominems. In this case, however, you seem to imply - without making any definite claim, however - that the street demonstration around the world have the capitalists shaking in their boots. So tell us more, comrade, what evidence do you have of those capitalists running scare, and what evidence do you have that if they indeed are rethinking their policy it is an effect of a street mob rather than other factors (concerns over their own wealth? Demands form other capitalists? Concerns over the wealth of the national economy - yes, these guys want to preside over a functioning economy, not a wreck).

Every bumpkin can claim that it his loudmouth that makes things happen - but the more critical thinking folk would like to see some proof of that.
