well, here is a video of the undignified end of the edgier bl ack bloc group in SF, which had a couple hundred within the entire bubble, but was much diminished from their purpose and numbers in 2003 San Francisco. They were very suspicious and difficult to find and often wouldn't answer casual questions from people they didn't recognize, and the police tried to preemptively stop them, then experienced many plainclothes officers who were attempting to be obvious about their nearby monitoring. The number of the entire march of people showing signs to each other was quite large, and the Love Parade afterwards in the sun was really cool - many more people than last year, and I guess americans aren't burned out on the concept like in europe, and it wasn't so large as in Berlin where it is just unwieldy. What is impressive is this video activst who is always perfectly positioned and got home, edited, adds his title text, and uploaded in lightning speed.
