Well, that's certainly the case! Particularly among workers who were previously taught that they were the 'protagonists' of society in socialism. Here's a link to a bunch of protesting steel workers in Chongqing taken at the end of August:

Their large state-owned factory (more than 10,000 workers) was driven bankrupt and is now being sold off to private investors. They blocked a road for a few days in protest of corruption before the police came in. Big pictures of Mao doesn't look very anti-Communist to me! Neither is their rhetoric, nor the site the pictures are being hosted at.
