Doug. Sure, Rummy and Gonzalez and ultimately the W

hate scapegoating and nailing the grunts while

I can't for the life of me work up any sympathy for Calley--I tried real hard once, as an exercise, after finding I could feel a little for Oliver North--but I can work up considerable for England. Still, she did something exceptionally bad, and I'd've probably given her more time. (Words I never thought I'd hear myself say.) But I don't get any joy out of it, any more than you sound like you do, and it's the gleefulness that bothers me.
There's the key to it, I think.
