2. Write up some opinion pieces and start peddling them to independent publications,
local newspapers, etc. Perhaps you will be the next big pundit. <br>

True, but I invoked this cliche first. It's sort of like
after Hurricane Katrina when I wrote a post here,
titled, "Where's Dick Cheney?" asking where
the vaunted VP was during the whole debacle
that followed that storm. Sure enough within
a couple of days, Derrick Jackson in the Boston
Globe wrote a column bearing the same title,
asking the same question.

with Harry," on Bush's nomination of Harriet Miers.
I made a comparison between that nomination and
Caligua's naming of his horse Incitatus for the office
of consul. Sure enough, Ms. Dowd in today's
column, in the print version (but not the online version
of the column), there is a subheading which
asks, "Who's the next appointee, Caligua's
horse?"
