Thanks to Chuck for the enlightening discussion of nuclear technology.  Without
buying the hype, I'm curious about the common claim that Iran is at least ten
years away from making a bomb.  The US Manhattan Project only took something
like five years and had to proceed without the benefit of prior knowledge or
advanced computers and other technology.  How can it take Iran so much longer? 
Did any of your reading shed any light on this question?
