Chris, just imagine if Kalashnikov had - somehow - privatized the  state-owned company in his own name during the wild days of the  90s!  A super rich oligarch armed to the teeth! He certainly would  not have had much competition. By the force of arms - as it were - K  could have easy taken over the oil sector. Wow! How history could have  been different!
