He is a young chap who hosts a "blog" called DailyKos.com. A blog is a web log, a sort of online journal. This fellow used to be a Republican campaigner or some such, and did some time in the army if I am not mistaken, then one good day he became a liberal, hosted a website, and the rest is history. DailyKos is the big daddy of liberal blogs and is hugely popular. His politics seem to be left of the Democratic Party but safely close to the center for broad appeal. He's opinionated, arrogant as only the young can be, and pretty sure of himself. Along with other left-leaning bloggers he has coined the term "netroots" to imply the vast army of web surfers who will bring about the necessary and important changes to make the world a better place. The netroots is best known for its thus far unsuccessful attempts to get Democrats elected.

Why is he worth squabbling about? I don't know... you have something else you want to squabble about? We just got done with immigrants, disabled people, and feminism. We have an open slot but you better move fast.
