*2 DAYS LEFT! THERE IS STILL TIME TO SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT APRIL 29!*
Friends,
There are just 2 days left until the massive demonstration this Saturday, April 29! Buses are coming from as far as Wisconsin, Illinois, Colorado and North Carolina! Folks in New Haven have chartered a train for 1,200! And, of course, people will be getting on subways and buses from all 5 boroughs and throughout the area. But there are still people here in NYC who don?t know that there will be a national march here on Saturday for Peace, Justice and Democracy and for all the things those words embody: Iraq, Iran, immigrants, women, the environment, civil rights. We can turn this country around!!
That is why we need *everyone* who possibly can to hand out 100 or 200 or 1,000 leaflets these next 2 days. We don?t want anyone to see the papers on Sunday and say, ?I would have been there if I had only known about it!?
*Please help us get the word out!* If you can commit even an hour over these next 2 days (although 2 or 5 would be great!), it will make a difference! We are organizing a city-wide leafleting effort for tomorrow, Friday, April 28th. There are several ways you can be part of this effort:
1) Come to the UFPJ office at 11 am or at 5 pm on Friday to hook up with others and pick up leaflets, stickers and posters.
2) Join a team of people at 4 pm on the southwest corner of Union Square -- leaflets will be there to be picked up.
3) Pick up leaflets at one of the distribution sites <http://www.april29.org/article.php?id=3200>.
4) Pick up leaflets at the UFPJ office anytime on Thursday evening (office open to 9 pm) or during the day on Friday.
5) Download a leaflet from the website <http://www.april29.org/article.php?id=3200> and make your own copies.
The UFPJ office is at 261 West 36th St, 7th floor, between 7th and 8th Aves.
