Absolute rot, old chap. I have written probably a few thousand lines in this thread, a decent part of it taking apart various sections of the original article, quoting it and offering my criticism of it.

In fact, for the sections of the article that you are bringing up again, I have responded in length (such as in my response to Doug asking where the token mention of "alternate" remedies led the author and how it was incorporated into his reasoning).

You can search the archive for my mention of the tail end of the piece, with references to "faith" and "messiah"s. In the archive you will also find my response to the description offered of the "agnostic" scientist. If you continue looking you will see references to the first paragraph (which talks about: now we see what happens when these alternatives are put to the test).
