ALCOHOLISM, AHMADINEJAD AND MIKE WALLACE

The following is a statement by Jack Thomas, who is available for talk show interviews on this topic.

Mike Wallace: Our “non-normie of the day” for Aug. 14, 2006 By Jack Thomas

Last night (Sun. Aug 13) on 60 Minutes I watched a scene that I have observed hundreds of times between alcoholics and co-alcoholics (persons obsessed with alcoholics).

It occurs when the problem drinker is confronted about his out-of- control imbibing by (usually) the wife, who has been trying vainly to get him to stop for years.

The glib alcoholic, despite having been a chronic liar, drunk, womanizer and even violent abuser in the past, is able to convince the co-alcoholic that he isn’t to blame and most everything that has happened to him is someone else’s fault, including hers.

In any event, according to him, all that stuff is in the past and now he is a new man who won’t lie, get drunk, chase wild women or strike his wife in anger.

Before it ends, the wife begins believing him, because she desperately wants to. At the finale of the confrontation, the woman starts the never-ending process of self-examination, blaming herself for the crimes of the alcoholic. In this little scenario, Mike Wallace, our non-normie of the day, today, is the co-alcoholic woman. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of Iran, is the lying alcoholic and the “someone else’s fault” is President Bush and the Zionists (the Jews).

If you study the non-normie personality, as I have done for seventeen years, you’ll find the above dynamic present in virtually every evil dictatorship or fanatical theocracy in the world. There will always be the charismatic “polar self-centered non-normie” (the alcoholic type) at the top. Surrounding him (or her) will be scads of polar other-centered non-normie followers (the co-alcoholic types) who worship the ground he walks on. And no matter how evil or dysfunctional the self-centered non-normie becomes, he will be defended to the death by the other-centered sheep that prop him up and keep him in power. If you don’t believe that, ask any child who was raised in a practicing alcoholic’s home.

The word “polar” means that their driven nature is located at one of the two extremes—polar-left or polar-right—and it’s fueled by suppressed rage since childhood. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, as a cult- religious extremist, is both polar-right and a self-centered non- normie (alcoholic type). When you combine this radical personality with an “obsessive Messiah-deliverer belief,” it’s more dangerous that any explosive known to man.

Conversely, Mike Wallace is a polar-left other-centered non-normie, trying to make sense out of insane behavior. I had the opportunity to listen to an interview that Sean Hannity had with Mike after his meeting with Ahmadinejad was competed. Sean asked him, when Mr. Wallace characterized Mahmoud as a reasonable guy, (paraphrased), “Wouldn’t Adolph Hitler come across as a reasonable guy too if you had interviewed him prior to World War II?”

That question stopped Mike in his tracks. At first he labeled it as a fair question and then he quickly dismissed it by referring to the gross evil that the Fuehrer had committed, as if those heinous acts would have prevented Adolph from posing as a “reasonable guy.” I’m sure that Neville Chamberlain found Mr. Hitler a “reasonable guy” too. In other words, Mike and Neville are cut from the same non- normie cloth.

As I wrote in a prior column, Ahmadinejad has made a promise, both to his followers and to the non-Muslim world, to fulfill his version of Islamic prophecy. In total megalomaniac fashion, he sees his role as ushering in the arrival of the Twelfth Imam. Supposedly, this “messiah” type deity can only appear here on earth if either the world is in flames or Israel (with the Jews) is destroyed.

Recently the United Nations issued a resolution to Iran, giving them until the end of August to agree to suspend their enrichment of uranium. Mahmoud responded to the edict by stating, “You will have your answer on August 22nd.” According to his version of the holy records, this day corresponds to the date for the return of the Twelfth Imam, providing that the conditions I listed above are in place.

I am not the only person in the world that knows this dire, but veiled, threat. It has been written about even in the Wall Street Journal. Yet our non-normie of the day, today, Mike Wallace never even asked Ahmadinejad about it. Do you think that he forgot? That’s silly. This 60 Minutes Reporter may be emotionally sick, but he is not stupid, nor is his staff.

One of two things happened. First, either Mr. Wallace was told, in advance, not to ask the President of Iran anything about August 22nd or about the conditions relative to his ushering in the arrival of the Twelfth Imam. If that had happened, I’d have assumed that there would have been a disclaimer, at the end of the piece, where that admission was broadcast. The other alternative is one I’ve also seen in confrontations between the alcoholic and the co-alcoholic. It’s when the wife suspects her drunken husband of cheating, but is afraid to ask for fear of what she’ll find out.

I don’t know which of the above two scenarios is the truth. All I know is that it took quite some time before CNN revealed (to their shame) that they had colored the news coming out of the Baghdad bureau in order to appease Saddam Hussein, solely for the self- centered purpose of allowing their staff to stay there.

So, all I can do here is ask Mike Wallace, “Why didn’t you ask Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that most important question of all, the question that has world-wide-war implications?” No, I wouldn’t have expected a truthful answer. But it would have been nice to get a “polar-right self-centered non-normie liar” on record in advance. At least that way, the world would know for certain that he is exactly who I claim that he is. It’s easier to galvanize American support to attack and obliterate a Hitleresk “polar-right self-centered non-normie liar” than a “reasonable guy.” --Jack Thomas

ABOUT JACK THOMAS, a Recovering and Developing “Non-normie”

Jack Thomas, a seemingly ordinary guy with one emotionally destructive compulsion, was thrust into the ranks of Al-Anon and Alcoholics Anonymous. There he recovered. In the process he gathered cryptic data about what may be the largest laboratory of non-normal people in existence.

Jack was addicted to relationships with self-destructive alcoholic women, stemming from his alcoholic mother. Having had numerous relationships with this type, he married a woman with a progressively worsening drinking problem.

The more he tried to cure her, including years of expensive therapy and a costly move, the worse the drinking became. Jack’s Pastor referred him to Al-Anon—an A.A. program for the co-alcoholic (codependent) relatives and friends of alcoholics.

There Jack learned that he didn’t cause her drinking and couldn’t cure it. He could only set sane boundaries. Jack told her to either go into detox or leave. At first she agreed to the treatment and his insurance approved it but, just before entering, she backed out and left.

Devastated, Jack plunged further into Al-Anon recovery, faithfully working all of the Twelve Steps and acquiring an excellent sponsor. Within two years he was sponsoring many new members, himself, while hosting the Introduction for Newcomers. During this time Jack took over the Alateen program, for children of alcoholics ages ten to teen in Torrance, CA, and ran it for three years. Then his Pastor asked him to design and lead a codependency recovery group, which he headed for several years, and soon he became a lay counselor for the church.

Fascinated with helping people recover, Jack jumped into learning even more about emotional disorders. He read the DSM III (The Psychiatrist’s “bible”) cover to cover, took courses, finished his Associates Degree and veraciously studied everything on the subject that he found.

He began to notice more and more commonalties amongst the emotionally non-normal (“non-normies”), cataloging them in a six-hundred page workbook. Also, all of them had large internal deposits of repressed anger that they didn’t want to give up—even though it appeared to be the root of their problem. Stockpiled rage had led to their developing emotionally driven personalities.

This motivated Jack to ask: If stored un-grieved (unprocessed) anger was the basis for people becoming emotionally non-normal, why would they cling to it if it was destroying them psychologically? The answer came after years of probing the hidden agendas and psyches of thousands of emotionally non-normal people that he encountered.

Those findings, along with how the emotionally driven non-normal personality was negatively affecting society, eventually resulted in the creation of the Web/Blog Site titled: www.non-normie.com
