- Rudimentary Peni are a London, UK-based anarcho-vegan punk trio who formed in 1980 from the ashes of late 70s band The Magits, and continue to this day.
- Singer/author/poet/artist Nick Blinko has schizoaffective disorder; the band recorded an LP in the 1990s while Blinko was detained under Section 3 of England's 1983 Mental Health Act, the only Brit band ever to do so. Blinko's out-of-print 1995 novel _Primal Screamer_ goes for $80+ on Amazon.com.
