The Japanese Government will help Vietnam to build two more primary schools under its non-refundable aid programme for Vietnamese localities in the 2006 fiscal year.
It will provide more than US $175,000 for the central province of Quang Ngai to build a school in Tu Nghia district and another in Mo Duc district.
Two agreements to this effect were signed in Hanoi on August 1 by Japanese Ambassador Norio Hattori and representatives from the beneficiary districts.
The Japanese Government had earlier committed to providing more than US $172,000 for central Quang Tri province to build two primary schools in Gio Linh and Trieu Phong districts and over US $89,000 for the Red River Delta province of Nam Dinh to construct a primary school in Nam Truc district.
