I believe that I made a similar suggestion a few months ago - evoking nothing much of value in response.
But in the interim I've seen evidence of the existence of such 'world views' in both the Simpsons and South Park. In the Simpsons, young Bart ascends in size through a continuum in which the cosmic particles become the particles of a larger scale entity that (I think I recall) turns out to be himself. Anyway, it's the 'greater power' thesis that contains the 'unknowable' aspect (which ties the theory to more traditional religious constructs.) And, with some local exceptions, don't we all have borders to our 'knowledge' beyond which lies the 'unknown' ?
