That's interesting news James. The media machine around him claims that  L could not read in English all that well. The Italian hack he met on  Nov 1 passed L documents "that he could not read well." The KGB/FSB is  truly disappointed. They have a history of hiring the best, but it  appears that L had a problem with the Enlgish language after living in  London for six years. The FSB needs to higher the bar regarding hiring  practices........Surely the boozed up years Yelstin are now apparent -  Russia's security forces hired the likes of useless L.

  He did. Indeed I could not have talked to him in   Russian, as I have none. It was not very grammatical and he talked at   length to Julia Svetlichnaja in Russian. But he had no trouble making himself   understood in English.
