One more thing: to the extent that James says that primitive accumulation is not the 
major force in capitalism today I think that we all would agree with him.  The only 
question is whether primitive accumulation has any continuing relevance.  The answer 
to that question is not central to whether imperialism is a major contributor to 
exploitation.
