What clue?

This all means what?

The guy Kovtun could have been working for anybody, including the FSB.

For any of these jokers to be effective in their "security" work, they have to keep contacts with the security services. Lugovoy looks to me like the perfect guy for the FSB to hire to hit Litvinienko. Like a lot of ex-KGB, he's worked for the Oligarchs, so that confuses the trail back to the government.

If Litvinienko is making anti-Putin noises in Europe, how does that hurt Berezhovsky? Why would an oligarch want him dead? And how come the Russian prosecutors are so sure he's a victim and not a perpetrator? That doesn't sound like cop-think to me.
