[WS:] The main reason I stopped paying any attention to Counterpunch and similar leftist pubs and rhetoric is the rather liberal use of bombast, hyperbole and insults directed at people they are trying to influence. They are worse than right wing talk show hosts, who use the same annoying rhetoric but with one crucial difference - against their enemies, not potential allies or folk they want to influence.
