Let me try an oblique comment on this whole thread.
1. Cuba is NOT a model for any other revolution. To take it as a model leads/would lead/has led to disaster, probably before but certainly after the seizure of power.
2. The Cuban Revolution AS The Cuban Revolution is in and of itself near perfection. It cannot be praised too highly. It has accomplished more than it was possible for it to accomplish. Criticisms of it from the outside exist only in the head of the critic and do not connect with any real world.
